I recently got some blue velvet shrimp from a fellow club member, but I haven’t gotten them to breed yet. I have had them about 3 months or so. Any water parameters anyone can suggest? I’ve tried to use a heater to bring the temperature to 78 Fahrenheit, i’ll see if they breed. Any suggestions? These are neocaridina shrimp, so if you guys have any neocaridina shrimp, please share your water parameters on how you guys breed them. Thanks!

I think that 78 degree is a bit high for dwarf shrimp. Most shrimp species prefer the water temperature to be in the high 60s / low 70s. Also getting the TDS levels right for shrimp can be a key factor in making them breed. I have always like the chart/guide they have on the discobee website. Link below…
